Tenerife Tutorials are a unique form of photographic holiday. In a relaxed holiday setting you can learn about photography and shoot superb pictures. The original aspect of the courses is that they are tutorialy based and have distinguished professional photographers overseeing the course. There are supervised shoots and time for shooting on an individual basis. On top of all this there is a full social programme. All these elements combine to give you an unforgettable photographic holiday experience. A typical tutorial day consists of a tutorial/demonstration followed by a supervised shoot. After this there will be time for personal bookings, relaxing, sightseeing, and socialising.

THE LOCATION

The location is the beautiful Island of Tenerife chosen because of its reasonable travelling time, its superb locations, climate and lighting conditions. A combination that allows tutorials to take place throughout the year. You will be staying on the southern tip of Tenerife surrounded by the greenery and palm trees of the Islands best golf course

ACCOMMODATION

Students will be staying in luxury apartments with a large photogenic pool complex. The apartments are situated on the exclusive golf resort of Golf Del. Sur, a championship PGA course. Accommodation is on a three sharing basis single or double occupancy is available on payment of a supplement. All apartments are self catering and are appointed to a very high standard including fully fitted kitchens, and large patios. Golf Del. Sur is a large luxury golf complex with several developments within easy reach of each other each with its own bars and restaurants
and shops.

MODELS

Models play a key role in tutorials and for students the experience and excitement of working and socialising with the models is central to their enjoyment of the holiday. There will be a number of models for you to chose from both well known established models, and new faces. We take great care in selecting models that will work well with students who are new to this type of photography, and those who are more experienced. There will plenty of opportunity to shoot with models either as a group or on a one to one basis. A make-up artist will demonstrate the importance of make-up. Both models and make-up artist will be available for students who wish to shoot on a one to one basis in a personal booking. COST

Prices for this photo tutorial holiday are shown on our costs page. This price will include flights, accommodation on a three sharing biases. It will also include tutorials and supervised shoots with models. Additional costs will be supplements for alternative accommodation arrangements, any additional airport or travel charges, and model fees for individual personal bookings during the week. EATING & SOCIALISING

This is a self catering holiday, all apartments have full cooking facilities. For those wanting more ,an evening meal with the crew and models, often with entertainment at local restaurant will be organised on some evenings. These will be open to all, the meal is often followed by a visit to a local bar or night club. Photography aside many students find the socialising to be the most enjoyable part of their holiday.

FLIGHTS

Tenerife is a comfortable 5 hours flying time from the UK and flights are direct. The main departure point for flights is Gatwick. However regional departures are available although some additional flight cost may be involved, please enquire if a reigonal airport would suit you better. Students from outside the U.K. can either join us in the UK before departure or can join us in Tenerife by making their own flight arrangements.



TRANSPORT

Car hire is available and costs around £120.00 per week. However most students prefer to contribute to the cost of a minibus that is used for getting to and from locations and for evenings out. The cost including petrol is about £30.00 per student for the week.

GENERAL

Because of the nature of the course, our intention is to give each student plenty of individual attention at all times. Your individual skill level is not important, we cater for the inexperienced as well as the competent photographer. Those who have never photographed a model before will feel at ease and will be surprised at what they can achieve in a week. Experienced students will be amazed at how their results improve.
